This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists, recall an order, take a payment, post bond, schedule a surrender, or give legal advice. An official status answer must come from the issuing court or authorized law-enforcement office.
Where to Get Official Information
Choose the office by the question and the record named in your paperwork. A county contact cannot clear a city citation, and a city payment page does not cover a JP or District Court case.
- San Patricio County Sheriff: 300 North Rachal, Sinton, TX 78387; 361-364-9600; fax 361-364-6110. Use the Sheriff page for custody, booking, warrant-intake, or bond-routing questions. It does not expose a public countywide warrant search.
- County Clerk: 400 W Sinton Street, Room 124, Sinton, TX 78387; 361-364-9350. Its phone menu includes criminal and collections. Online payment is limited to County Court, County Court at Law, and CCL #2 matters, not JP, District, or municipal cases. See the County Clerk page.
- District Clerk: 400 W Sinton Street, Room 144, Sinton, TX 78387; 361-364-9377; records requests use option 2 or dcinfo@sanpatriciocountytx.gov. The office lists weekday hours of 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Visit the District Clerk page for its records route.
- County Public Information Officer: Christopher Dorsey, Governmental Affairs/Public Information Officer/Legal; 1301 E Sinton Street, Suite C, Sinton, TX 78387; 361-364-6148; cadorsey@sanpatriciocountytx.gov. The county’s public-information page provides request instructions.
The written county policy lists a different delivery point at the Elections Building, 400 W Market Street, Room 7. Call or email the Public Information Officer to confirm the correct destination before hand-delivering a request. The policy permits requests by hand, mail, fax, email, or in person under its procedures. It may charge for copies, and it describes a written estimate when expected charges exceed $40.
For a city citation, contact the city municipal court printed on the paper. For a justice-court matter, use the named JP precinct. The Sheriff’s current public address and the addresses in specialized or older county directories do not always match, so confirm the function and location before a visit. County courthouse departments have separate rooms and phone numbers; the general courthouse line is not a substitute for the correct clerk.
